I’m “Ultra”Marcos from CPTeP, and despite the fact that I always consider myself a newbie on the hobby, I’ve been into Miniature/Tabletop games since the year 2000.
I first learnt about Warhammer in Stuttgart/Germany where I was living back then. When I moved back to Brazil, I joined the Warhammer Brasil Forum and met a bunch of people with similar interests. Since then, the hobby has been growing in my life. I am committing more and more personal time into it, to the point that I do something hobby related almost every day, if not every single day, be it painting, assembling, collecting, reading etc.
Due to my job, I moved to two other different countries already (Switzerland and US) and due to that I had a chance to play 40K in at least 8 different countries (that I can recollect). I’ve also been to Warhammer World, Games Day UK and Adepticon that are significant places/events for the Hobby.
Through the course of time I’ve made really good friends in the hobby that, eventually , friendship bled into other spheres of my life. One of my best friends out there is Gereth (Estevao) who owns this blog and more often than not, we throw ourselves into hobby related funky endeavors. The Tale of X gamers is one of those that I’m glad to participate.
For the ToXG (Tales of X Gamers), I will be working on my Blood Angels army, with a slightly different twist from the others, I will explain.
- · First of all I’m not living in Brazil, so my budget, although still limited to the same R$100 as the others (50 U$D), will spent in the US in USD. So challenges such as shipping charges or unavailability of hobby related material, will be less evident in my reality.
- · I will be reinforcing the columns of my army instead of building a completely new one from scratch. Although I will be respecting, as the other participants on the ToXG, the force organization chart, I will focus on units oriented to Apocalypse and hopefully at the end I will have my own Titan painted 🙂 .
So what I have planned in terms of list are the following (points to be adjusted)

- · 1 Scout Class Warhound Titan Lucius Pattern (that I already have so it’s kind of out of bounds for the ToXG)

Meu nome é “Ultra”Marcos do Blog Chumbo,Plástico ,Tinta & Pincel e apesar de eu sempre me achar um novato nesse hobby, eu estou metido com jogos de miniatura e Tabletop desde do ano 2000.
Eu descobri o Warhammer em Stuttgart na Alemanha, onde eu vivia nessa época. Quando voltei para o Brasil, me juntei ao Warhammer Brasil aonde eu conheci um monte de gente com interesses semelhantes. Desde então o hobby tem crescido na minha vida, e cada vez mais eu tenho investido meu tempo livre nisso, seja pintando, colecionando, jogando, lendo ou até falando sobre o assunto, quase que diariamente, se não for realmente todos os dias!
Por conta do meu trabalho, eu já me mudei para dois países diferentes (Suíça e EUA) o que me permitiu jogar 40K em ao menos 8 países diferentes. Eu já estive em lugares/eventos significativos para o hobby como o Warhammer World, Games Day UK e Adepticon.
Durante esse tempo eu fiz grandes amigos no hobby, que eventualmente se tornaram amigos mais do que somente o hobby. Um dos meus melhores amigos é o Gereth (Estevão) aqui do The Painting Frog e com frequência nos metemos em coisas não convencionais com relação ao tão amado hobby. O “A Tale of X Gamers ” é uma delas e que eu estou animadão para participar.
Para o ToXG (Tale of X Gamers), vou estar trabalhando nos meus Blood Angels, mas com uma leitura diferente dos outros, eu explico:
· Primeiro porque o fato de eu não morar no Brasil, remove alguns desafios inerentes aos habitantes da nossa querida Terra Brasilis, tais como o problema de frete ou a indisponibilidade de materiais. Os mesmos R$ 100 reais serão usados como budget mensal, mas serão gastos aqui e em dólares.
· Eu estarei reforçando as colunas do meu army que já existe, e não criando um totalmente novo, porém, apesar de respeitar a Force Organization Chart, vou focar em unidades para Apocalipse, diferente dos outros participantes do ToXG, e se tudo correr bem terei até o meu Titan pintado 🙂 .
