Hello folks, I’m 4irw4lk3r from the “Brushes n’ Paints” blog and I’m participating on this project from my friend Gereth here on the “The Painting Frog” blog.
I’m still having a hard time trying to decide which theme to use on my new Tau army and full of doubts about what to buy in order to expand the army. With the rumors about the new Codex Tau floating around I might stick to the basics from the Battleforce box for a while.
I intend to work on assembling the army and coming up with a theme for it this month as I already have a color scheme for it in my mind, with sober colors but with a range of combinations that may make the models shine on the tabletop.
Searching the internet I came across some good websites that can help us build a nice color scheme.
The first of them was “Color Wizard” which helps you find the correct combinations for color composition on your color scheme. Easy to use and free to boot. 😀
Another site was the “Bolter and Chainsword Fire Warrior Painter” which lets you apply your colors to a virtual model allowing you to see how good they’ll look when combined. It is a great tool for checking color schemes and see how colors look together on a model.
I managed to assemble a unit with 12 Fire Warriors and 1 Drone, which is the unit configuration I find most interesting for these guys. My next steps will be to apply my chosen color scheme to them (which I’ll share on my next post) and doing theis bases. J

Olá pessoal, sou o 4irw4lk3r do blog Brushes n’ Paints; e estou participando deste projeto do meu amigo Painting Frog.
Ainda com problemas de descobrir qual tema usar para meu novo army Tau e cheio de dúvidas sobre o que comprar para expandir o exército. Com os rumores sobre o novo codex tau por hora, vou ficar com o básico da caixa de Battleforce.
Para este mês pretendo trabalhar na montagem e no tema do exército. O esquema de cores já está na minha cabeça, com cores mais sóbrias mas com uma gama grande de combinações que podem fazer os modelos realmente brilharem na mesa.
Procurando na net achei bons sites que podem ajudar a criar um esquema de cores bem legal.

Já este cara aqui te deixa aplicar as cores pra tu ver como elas ficariam juntas. Já ajuda bastante pra ter uma ideia do esquema de cores e como elas estão combinadas.
