After a while without touching any miniatures I’m back to showcase the basic color scheme for the troops on my Tau army.
I’ve always wanted to paint yellow and this project has presented me with the opportunity to lear how to paint this color. So my basic troops will sport an yellow paint scheme with some cream and brown added to it.
When it came to details I didn’t want to stray far from my chosen palette so I opted for orange and in order to break all those colors a bit the plasma effects will be painted in blue.

I’ve been having some trouble to find new Tau pieces, especially now with a new codex looming over the horizon.
I’ve been searching all over Ebay for new pieces but it has been complicated to win some auctions.
I also intend to make a chart to keep tabs on my expenses so I can try to stick to the monthly budget set for this challenge.
My next step will be to work on the Stealth Suits, which I don’t know if I’ll use in the game, but, for the time being that’s all I have to paint.

Depois de um tempo sem tocar em miniaturas, voltei para mostrar o esquema de cores básico das tropas para meu exército Tau.
Eu sempre quis pintar amarelo e achei uma ótima oportunidade de aprender a como pintar esta cor neste projeto. Sendo assim minhas tropas básicas serão amarelas, juntamente com um marrom e creme.
Os detalhes eu não quis sair muito da paleta, logo serão laranja. E para quebrar um pouco tudo isso, os efeitos de “plasma” serão feitos em azul.

Tenho tido alguma dificuldade para conseguir novas peças de Tau, principalmente agora com o novo codex as portas.
Tenho revirado o Ebay para conseguir novas peças, mas é complicado ganhar os leilões. Prentendo também fazer uma pequena planilha de gastos para seguir a premissa do desafio: gastar 100 R$ por mês para montar o exército.
Meu próximo passo é trabalhar nas Stealth Suits, não sei se serão usadas em jogo mas por hora é o que eu tenho para pintar.
