What´s up!
One more month, one more unit. Like last month, I´m getting the new stuff that showed up in the sixth edition, and this time I got a Fortification. An Aegis Defense Line with Icarus Lascannon.
I read much about the quadgun as being better, but the points limit let me choose only the lascannon, besides, with BS 4 I got more chances to get a hit with its single shot, which has S 9 and can do some serious damage to my enemies’ armor or flyers.
This month´s cost was about R$70,00 including shipping and the lascannon, that doesn´t come in the box of the Aegis, is part of the Imperial Bastion.
This kit couldn´t be simpler to work with. Except for the lascannon, there aren´t any parts to assemble. All you need is to clean the mold lines and paint. I used black spray as primer; then after it dried I applied a drybrush of lunar gray followed by a drybrush of gray. The metal areas were painted with boltgun metal then washed with devlan mud. The dust was made with a sequence of drybrushes of light brown, ochre yellow and sand beige. I painted the lascannon in the color pattern of my army and done.
Now I have somewere to position my future devastators or some combat squad for suppressing fire.

Mais um mês, mais uma unidade. Como no mês anterior, estou pegando as coisas novas que apareceram na sexta edição, e dessa vez fui com uma Fortificação. Aegis Defense Line com Icarus Lascannon.
Li muito a respeito sobre a quadgun ser melhor, mas o que cabia em pontuação era apenas o lascannon, além do quê com BS 4, tenho mais chances de acertar um único tiro, que com S 9 pode causar um bom estrago tanto em blindados inimigos como em voadores.
O custo desse mês ficou em cerca de R$70,00 contando frete e o lascannon, que não vem na caixa da Aegis, faz parte do Imperial Bastion.
Esse kit não poderia ser mais simples de trabalhar. Exceto pelo lascannon, não há parte para serem montadas. Tudo o que se precisa fazer é limpar as linhas de molde e pintar. Usei tinta em spray como primer preto; depois de seco drybrush de cinza lunar seguido de drybrush de cinza. As partes metálicas foram pintadas com boltgun metal e lavadas com devlun mud. A poeira na base é uma sequência de drybrushes de castanho claro, amarelo ocre e bege areia. Pintei o lascannon no padrão de cores das armas do meu army e pronto.
Agora tenho onde posicionar meus futuros devastators ou algum combat squad para dar cobertura.
