Hello Folks.

This is my 5th article from a series about “A Tale of X Gamers – ToXH” where I’ll build a 2000 point Ork army for the Warhammer 40K game.

On the previous month I finished panting my Warlord, Ghazghkull Thraka. This month I haven’t painted anything new, but I do have something to share with you readers. One of these days when I went for a game on Gereth’s house something really unpleasant happened.

Ever since I began gaming, I had always transported my miniatures in a regular box, without any sort of protection. The models were loose inside the box.

Ok! So we’re on the sixth article for the Project “A Tale of X Gamers”!

I finished painting 16 Termagaunts this month, using a pretty fast technique, since these are basic troops and I’ll need 30 of them or more. I’ve kept track of how much time I spent on these models (only in painting them, setting aside the time spent on prepping them for painting).

Hello there Reader.

Ever since I first talked about the first GW perpetrated Embargo I expressed an interest in exploring other wargaming options out there in the market, not because of some sudden “anti-Games Workshop rage” but simply because buying the models for what was my favorite gaming system was getting too difficult.

Well to add insult to injury it has recently transpired that from the 15th of June onwards I will no longer be able to purchase from my favorite online stores based on the United States or Canada as GW has once more seem fit to prohibit stores carrying their products to sell outside their countries (they won’t even be able to sell online).

It should come as no surprise to you then that my efforts in locating other nice wargaming systems have been doubled and in that search I’ve come across what promises to be a small gem in the making: Deadzone.

Hello to all Warhammer 40K fans.

The “A Tale of X Gamers” initiative intends to illustrate that it is possible to build an army for 40K, Fantasy or any other wargame spending a small amount of money over a one year period.

In the project I want to illustrate all the process from the choice of an army and its list of miniatures, all the basic material one must have to start in the hobby until the end when we’ll play a 2000 point game with it.

I hope you enjoy this series.

Hello folks.

This is my fourth article from a series about “A Tale of X Gamers – ToXH” where I’ll build a 2000 point Ork army for the Warhammer 40K game.

On the previous article I presented my full army list and miniatures set. I’ve opted to purchase all the miniatures I’d need to build my army on the first months of the project, which will allow me to start playing games right from the start with my battle brothers.

Now all that’s left to do is painting.
