Hello Reader.

We published a while ago a review of one of Warmill’s MDF scenery kits, the Outpost Kit.

If you missed it back then you can click this link to check it out and see all I had to say about it back then, before checking the video on today’s update.

Hello Reader.

Another episode of our podcast show was published last Tuesday. I could only get round to posting about it here on the blog today so if you’ve been listening to it and have been waiting for a new episode to be published here I apologize.

This week’s episode has been dubbed “Painting 101” as the hosts, your truly here and my mate “Ultra”Marcos from the CPT&P blog, and guests chat a bit about the miniature painting hobby sharing what we consider important tips for those beginning in the hobby.

Hello there.

I often mention the ReLOAD channel on Youtube. Owned by a good friend of mine ReLOAD is Brazil’s first wargaming channel on Youtube and has since its modest origins grown in size and content and now they’re holding their first contest, offering you not only the chance to be featured on their channel, but also a prize!

In order to participate all you’ll have to do is send in pictures (from 10 to 15 photos) or a quick video (no longer than a minute) of whatever miniatures you have painted as of late. The idea is to showcase your work and according to them ANYTHING GOES as long as you have painted it yourself (and yes, you can participate in it even if you live outside Brazil and doesn’t speak Portuguese).

Hello Reader.

It turns out that the last time I published an article about a model I had painted here (not counting the reviews of the Outpost Kit and the Catwalk Set, and the Salt Weathering tutorial) was back in January 2013.

That is a long time, but I haven’t been idle all this time. I am still struggling with some “real life” issues but I’ve been committing more time to my hobby as a way of distancing myself from the very issues which had been undermining my painting mojo and one of the things I have been doing lately is devoting some time to my Helldorado miniatures.

Hello.

So we’re back with another article for the “A Tale of X Gamers” project. This is Vitor from the “Vamos Ver no Pano Verde” blog writing here once more.

This month I have decided to work on my Genestealers and the Broodlord. I looked over the Broodlord figure and decided to take my chances with a conversion, as it seemed simple to do it. I noticed the model was only a regular Genestealer, albeit a bigger one on a more erect position, so I got hold of a regular Genestealer, sawed the torso and repositioned it over a wire frame, fixing it in place with some greenstuff.
