Já tinha um tempo que não publicava um battle report por aqui, daí aproveitei para registrar um jogo recente contra o Babu para fazer um relato no blog.
O Babu é um amigo aqui de Cuiabá que mostrou interesse nos wargames e que estou tentando fisgar para o Warhammer 40.000, assim na sequência do Rumble 2, convidei ele para uma partida onde apresentaria a ele os conceitos fundamentais do jogo e ainda testaria uma lista Eldar contra os Imperial Knights. Cheguei a pensar em deixar o Babu comandar os Eldar, mas como a quantidade de coisas a lembrar com eles seria muito maior achei que seria mais interessante para ele comandar os Knights.

Today’s article is just to finally, and properly, announce we are having another “Rumble in the Jungle” this year.
“Rumble in the Jungle II – The Mission” is happening on the 23rd and 24th of July, 2016, and will be held in the city of Cuiabá/MT in Brazil, gathering participants in two days of unrestrained gaming and fun.

Yes, apparently I tend to repeat myself when it comes to apologizing to you, readers, about not updating the blog as often as I’d like, but I vouch it’s never something intentional when the lack of articles here ensues. O happen to lose the drive to write from time to time but it’s invariably the comments and good experiences arising from the blog which draws me back.

According to the bets being placed this article should see the light of day sometime around 2017, but in order to contradict the naysayers I’m publishing it today, little over a month after the Rumble in the Jungle was held. I do like to contradict prognostics.

This is the article everyone could see coming from a mile away, but it ended up taking me more than a year to write this. It seems I’m perfecting the art of taking a while to write articles here on the blog.
Joking aside I do have a gestating period when it comes to writing articles like this. While some are born in the spur of the moment and seem to write themselves in a flash, others take their time inside my head, and this apparently is one of the latter.
