Hello Reader.

Today’s article is an alert to other hobbyists in Brazil, warning them to stay away from a shady company called “Legends do Brasil” that has been conning people out of their money here, selling RPG supplies, board games and wargaming models.

This might not be of interest to those of you living abroad, hence why I’m only publishing the Portuguese version of it.

Hope you understand it.

Over and out.

Salve Leitor.

Hello Reader!

Playing miniature games is always our escuse to meet, so, as usual, with Marcos coming to visit Brazil it was high time we organized something to get together with our friends in Sao Paulo and play a couple games.

Last time we had Marcos around we held the 1st PAPOCON, the first meeting from the do Papo de Mesa Podcast (the podcast me and Marcos host) held at the “Clube Paulista de Wargames” (the Sao Paulo wargaming club), so it was natural to think about holding the 2nd PAPOCON this time… but the hard truth is that the podcast isn’t being published as often as we’d like as we’re struggling to find the time to record and edit new episodes, so calling this meeting a PAPOCON was almost like salting our own wounds .

Hello Reader!

I’ve published a few articles here on the blog authored by friends of mine, who either ask to have their stuff published here or who are invited by me to share their thoughts on the blog.

I’ve recently done so with the “A Tale of X Gamers” articles, and also with the Warmachine starter box review.

Today’s post here is another guest article, this time authored by one of the good friends I’ve made in this hobby, even if we’ve only met in person once. He’s the guy who ultimately made it possible for me to get into the wargaming hobby, and especially into Warhammer 40.000: Joao Marcelo, or JM as he’s often called.

Without further ado, here’s his review of the Maki Games scenery pieces.

Hello there Reader.

As I said yesterday, I had completely forgotten to post here on the blog about the second part of our “Papo de Mesa Podcast” about Warhammer 40.000.

This week we have published the final installment of our 40K episode in which we wrap up our (very) informal conversation about this fantastic game produced by Games Workshop.

Hello there Reader.

Another quick post today letting you know we’ve published the first part of our fifth episode of the Papo de Mesa Podcast.

Again this is a Portuguese spoken podcast but if you speak the language I couldn’t recommend it more. This time around the hosts welcome guests from five Brazilian wargaming clubs to discuss the incipient club phenomenon in Brazil.
